The villa offers a stunning sea view overlooking a green valley, woodlands, and the iconic Ifach peninsula. The green zone (unique for this area) in front of the house ensures a relaxed and secluded atmosphere.

The villa is nicely situated at the end of a quiet dead-end road and only has one neighboring house.

The owner is an architect who designed the house for his family and guests. Quality and craftsmanship were key in designing and building this house. Even the smallest details have been well thought through.

The plot is surrounded by plastered walls and design fences. The automatic entrance gate provides access to the ramp that leads to the two parking places on the roof top. Here you?ll also find a roof garden in a graphic pattern and a great roof terrace with large plants. Under the shade of a large umbrella this is an ideal place to enjoy the stunning views and beautiful sunset.

The ramp continues at the rear side of the house and leads to the main entrance.

First floor

Entering the living room you are automatically attracted to the beautiful view. The glass facade with a length of 10 meters is overlooking the valley and the sea and gives acces to a large covered terrace. Both living room and terrace are equipped with comfortable design couches and chairs. The terrace floor is partly constructed from glass, which allows you to look at the swimming pool below.

The dining area and the kitchen are connected to the living room. The kitchen with a large cooking island is very well equipped, including two refrigerators, a freezer, a large induction hot plate, a steam oven, a microwave oven and a plate heater to make cooking enjoy full. Two dishwashers will easily take care of cleaning all your dishes. With the push of a button an electrical screen can be lowered to separate the dining area from the kitchen. However, most of the time you?ll enjoy dining outside. The large table on the terrace adjacent to the kitchen allows dining in the sun, but also offers the possibility to dine in the shade by using the electrical sunscreen.

The master bedroom and bathroom, as well as a separate guest toilet and scullery, are located on the same floor. The scullery can also be used to store your suitcases during your stay.
All bedrooms have built-in closets, but more importantly premium quality box spring beds. The size of the beds are 180×200 cm. The bed in the master bedroom is also electrically adjustable for reading or watching television on the 48-inch build-in flatscreen.

Ground floor

A void of 6 meters high connects the first level with the ground floor. It gives the dining and the kitchen area a spacious feeling, but also creates a place for children to play. On the ground level you will find four bedrooms, three of which have their own bathrooms. The rooms on the ground floor all have direct access to the pool area. The luxurious bathrooms are all equipped with high-quality showers and rain showers. All bathrooms have a hair dryer and a cabinet to store your toiletries.

On the ground floor you also find a separate home cinema room with a 65-inch ultra-high definition screen. A large couch with two chaise-longue elements makes watching movies extremely comfortable.
Next to the home cinema you will find a utility room. A washer and dryer, both with extra-large capacity are at your disposal.

Terraces, pool and garden

All the windows at the south side are covered with awnings or are connected to a covered terrace. The three terraces on the ground floor overlook the swimming pool and the garden. One the first floor you will find a covered lounge terrace and two separate dining terraces, covered by an adjustable awning and a parasol. One is equipped with a gas BBQ. The roof terrace is equipped with lounge couches , extra chairs and a large sunshade. It is a ideal place to enjoy sunset.

The swimming pool of 11mx4 meter has a specific Mediterranean colour, supported by spots in the night time. A part of the edge has a infinity construction and shows the valley, the sea and the Ifach. The depth of the pool varies from 1.20m to1.85 meters. A small part has a depth of 70 cm and allows little children to stand. Next to the pool there is an outdoor shower with a solar system for hot water. A separate toilet is located near the swimming pool to avoid wet people from going into the house.

As a fence around a swimming pool in Spain is not obligatory by law, you are warned that the edge of the pool is not protected!

The house, being constructed on a sloping plot, demands for a garden with many different levels. The vegetation is very divers, but generally of a subtropic kind. An automatic irrigation system takes care of watering the plants.
On the lowest level of the garden you will find a court to play petanque.

Ecology

The house is very well isolated and is fully air-conditioned. Heating during winter months is provided by an underfloor heating system that is installed throughout the house. Each room has its own LCD-panel for easy climate control.

The house is oriented towards the south. However, due to overhanging roof the sun doesn’t shine into the house during summer, keeping it nice and cool. A small patio connected to the living room area makes pleasant ventilation possible. In other seasons (when the position of the sun changes) sunshine does enter the house, warming it up. Electrical blinds in the living area and roll-down shutters in front of all other windows help to adjust the temperature in a natural way.

Due to high temperatures in the summer season, the house is designed to create natural shade. Three of the six terraces are covered by an architectural construction, two can be covered by a sunscreen, and one is in the open air.

A superb LED lighting system is installed throughout the house, garden, and swimming pool. Since almost all lights are dimmable, this allows you to create the atmosphere you prefer.

Although Villa Aqua de Mar has an security alarm system, there also is a safe available for your valuables.
